Afrifresh Foods engaged PEMBA to transition its operations from local production to a reliable, export-grade supply chain. Our primary role was to implement rigorous Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) protocols and upgrade infrastructure to meet stringent international quality benchmarks. This required a complete diagnostic study of input efficiency and output quality across their multi-species poultry portfolio. The goal was twofold: securing the highest flock viability and ensuring product conformity (eggs and meat) for premium markets.

This comprehensive intervention included the design and commissioning of state-of-the-art incubation and brooding facilities , alongside specialized training in bio-secure feed formulation and handling. PEMBA’s oversight led to immediate, quantifiable improvements: the establishment of high-yield feed regimens for the guinea fowl flock and a documented increase in the quality and uniformity of all produced eggs . The final project assessment verified the viability of the entire integrated system.
